Men's Tennis - Brian Freeman, Hastings
Hastings Brian Freeman is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Freeman, a sophomore from Wheat Ridge, Colorado, went 3-1 in number five singles matches and 2-1 at number two doubles this past week for the Broncos. For the week he posted a pair of conference singles and doubles wins. His only losses were against Mesa State. He also posted both a singes and doubles win (with partner Vinny Banda) against Metro State.
Women's Tennis - Ashley Potrzeba, Hastings
Hastings Ashley Potrzeba is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Potrzeba, a junior from Hastings, Nebraska, went 3-2 at number two singles and 4-1 at number four doubles on the week for the Broncos. She and her doubles partner Cammie Koopman posted an 8-6 win against Metro State. For the week she was 3-0 in conference singles and 3-0 in conference doubles matches.
