Red Raiders are 2-1 Versus Briar Cliff This Season

There was no need for two of the semifinalists in the NAIA Division II women's basketball championships to exchange game film.
Briar Cliff University (28-7) and Northwestern College (29-5), Great Plains Athletic Conference rivals separated by some 45 miles, tangle in the second of two games at 8 o'clock tonight at the Tyson Events Center. The first semifinal pits former national champions Shawnee State (Ohio) (28-6) and Indiana Wesleyan (29-6), with that game getting under way at 6 p.m.
"They were asking me if we wanted film on them and I was, like, no, we have plenty of film on them so we don't need any more on Northwestern," said Briar Cliff Coach Mike Power. "It's great for the GPAC because we know for sure one of us is going to represent us in the national championship.
