University of Sioux Falls head coach Kalen DeBoer announced this morning that he will resign his position as head coach at USF to take the offensive coordinator position at Southern Illinois.

DeBoer had been the head coach at with the Cougars for the last five seasons compiling a 67-3 overall record. USF won its fourth overall national title, the third under DeBoer. The Cougars have won four consecutive Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) and NAIA National Championships in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
