![]() Hastings' Jeremiah Slough The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's basketball player-of-the-week for January 25 - January 31, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Jeremiah Slough, Guard - Hastings Hastings guard Jeremiah Slough is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week. Slough, a senior from Doniphan, Nebraska, had a huge week as the Broncos picked up two key road wins. In a Wednesday night four overtime win at Midland Lutheran (129-124) he scored 61 points setting a new school and league record. He was three shy of the NAIA national record of 64 points. On Saturday he came back with a 24 point outing at Morningside in an 89-77 win in Sioux City. For the week he made 26-48 field goals and 12-23 three pointers. He was also 21-27 at the foul line. Hastings is now 18-5 overall and 9-3 in league play. The Broncos play at GPAC co-leader Concordia on Wednesday night. GPAC Basketball This Week Wednesday, February 3
