Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's basketball player-of-the-week for January 18 - January 24, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Darrin Dorsey, Guard - Dakota Wesleyan
  Dakota Wesleyan guard Darrin Dorsey repeats as the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week. Dorsey, a junior from Phoenix, Arizona, averaged 24 points, six rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game as the Tigers went 2-0 on the week. He scored the game winning basket in the final minute against Morningside while scoring the final seven points of the game. For the week he made 17-29 shots from the floor (59%). Against Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday he scored a career high 34 points. Dakota Wesleyan is now 17-5 on the season and 9-2 in the GPAC. The Tigers have won six games in a row.
