Joe Sievert, Morningside College - 165 Pound Weight Class
  Morningside's Joe Sievert is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Sievert, a freshman from Akron, Iowa, went 4-0 on the weekend at the Minnesota West Open last weekend. He placed first in his weight class and posted a big win over Alex Ortiz from the University of Minnesota. Ortiz, who ranked as the No. 22 wrestling recruit in the country by Intermat, was 177-0 in high school and a four time state champion. He won the bout 15-10.
