![]() Briar Cliff's Chase Vander Feen The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's basketball player-of-the-week for December 28, 2009 - January 3, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week
Chase Vander Feen, Guard - Briar Cliff Briar Cliff guard Chase Vander Feen is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week. Vander Feen, a junior from Hawarden, Iowa, averaged 17.3 points per game this past week as the Charger men went 2-1. In a non-conference win Northwestern he scored 21 points while going 3-6 from behind the three-point line and 8-8 at the foul line. Tenth ranked Briar Cliff is now 12-3 on the season and will resume conference play with a 4-1 mark.
