![]() Week #10 Men's Soccer Honors The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's soccer players-of-the-week for November 4 - November 8, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week Men's Offense - Ryan Robinson, Hastings - Midfielder Hastings midfielder Ryan Robinson is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Robinson, a sophomore from Elkhorn, Nebraska, scored four goals on the week as the Broncos won a pair of tournament games. For the week he also added an assist as Hastings defeated Dordt in the quarterfinals and Doane in the semifinals. He posted a hat trick in the win against the Defenders. Hastings is now 15-3-2 on the season and will host Midland Lutheran on Thursday in the GPAC Championship at 6PM. Both teams have secured berths in the NAIA National Men's Soccer Tournament which opens on Saturday, November 21, at campus sites around the country. Men's Defense - Derek Prinz, Hastings - Defender
Hastings defender Derek Prinz is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Prinz, a sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska, led the Bronco defense in a pair of tournament victories last week. For the week the Hastings defense allowed just four shots on goal in a pair of 4-0 wins. Hastings, now 15-3-2, will host Midland Lutheran in the GPAC Championship Match on Thursday night at 6PM. Both teams have secured berths in the NAIA National Men's Soccer Tournament which opens on Saturday, November 21, at campus sites around the country.
