Men's Offense - Ryan Keohane, Sioux Falls - Midfielder
Sioux Falls midfielder Ryan Keohane is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Keohane, a freshman from Rapid City, South Dakota, scored two goals in a pair of Cougar wins over Northwestern and Concordia. Sioux Falls solidified the number two seed in the conference tournament by finishing 9-2-1. The Cougars will host Midland Lutheran on Tuesday night at 7PM in a GPAC quarterfinal match.
Men's Defense - Daniel Whithorn, Morningside - Keeper
Morningside keeper Daniel Whithorn is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Whithorn, a sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska, posted two wins in goal as the Mustangs went 2-0. In a 1-0 road win at #19 Hastings he stopped five shots, while he posted two saves in a 3-1 win over Dordt. Morningside is now 11-6-1 and will host Briar Cliff on Tuesday night at 7PM in a GPAC quarterfinal match.
