Men's Soccer Honors
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's soccer players-of-the-week for October 19 -October 25, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Men's Offense -Yannic Thiel, Hastings - Midfielder
  Hastings midfielder Yannic Thiel is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Thiel, a junior from Munich, Germany, scored a goal and added three assists on the week as the Broncos secured their 10th GPAC Men's Regular Season Championship in a row. For the season Hastings is now 13-2-2 and they are 10-0-1 (31 points) in the league.

Men's Defense- Derek Prinz, Hastings - Defender
  Hastings defender Derek Prinz is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Prinz, a sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska, anchored the Broncos back line that allowed one goal on the week in wins against Doane and Briar Cliff. The Hastings defense allowed just eight shots on goal. The Broncos are now 13-2-2 and 10-0-1 in the GPAC.
