The eighth installment of the 2009 NAIA National Football Players of the Week were announced by the NAIA on Monday: Ryan Lowmiller of Sioux Falls (S.D.) was named NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, Vince Martinez of Doane (Neb.) was named NAIA Defensive Player of the Week and Andy Smith of South Dakota Mines was named NAIA Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 19-25. These winners were chosen out of a pool of player of the week performers among 10 conferences and independents.
