Cross Country Honors
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following runners-of-the-week in cross country for October 5 -October 11, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.


Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runners-of-the-Week
Women - Erin Keitges, Morningside
 
Morningside's Erin Keitges is the week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Keitges, a senior from Jackson, Nebraska, placed third on Saturday in the Briar Cliff Invite with a time of 18:07.92. She helped lead the Mustangs to their third team win a row this season. Her time was a career best and has helped lead the Morningside women to a #17 NAIA National Ranking.

Men - Bryan Eicher, Hastings
 
Hastings' Bryan Eicher is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Eicher, a senior from Broomfield, Colorado, was the top GPAC finisher on Saturday at the Briar Cliff Invite. His fourth place finish time was 25:58.85. The Briar Cliff meet was run at the Adams Nature Preserve in McCook Lake, South Dakota.
