GPAC Week #6 Golf Honors The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for October 5 - October 11, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women - Dani Bellet, Dakota Wesleyan Dakota Wesleyan's Dani Bellet is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Bellet, a sophomore from Lead, South Dakota, was the medalist at GPAC Women's Qualifier #2 in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Pioneers Golf Course. For the day she shot a round of 71 (34-37) and took the overall lead in the medalist race with a 36 hole total of 148. GPAC Qualifiers #3 and #4 will be played this spring at Dana and Briar Cliff. Men - Cam Jacobs, Morningside
Morningside's Cam Jacobs is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Jacobs, a senior from Sioux City, Iowa, was the medalist at the GPAC Men's Qualifier #2 in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. For the day he shot a round of 73 (37-36) and tool the overall lead in the medalist race with a 36 hole total of 144. GPAC Qualifier #3 and #4 will be played this spring at Nebraska Wesleyan and Sioux Falls. |
