![]() GPAC Week #6 Volleyball Honors The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following volleyball players-of-the-week for October 5 - October 11, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week
Player - Susan Rollman, Doane (Middle Blocker) Doane middle blocker Susan Rollman is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Player-of-the-Week. Rollman, a freshman from Humphrey, Nebraska, averaged 4.33 kills per game as the Tigers went 3-0 on the week. For the week she had a .578 attack percentage and averaged 1.1 blocks per game. Doane is now 21-4 on the season. *Rollman is the GPAC's NAIA Player-of-the-Week Nominee Setter- Ashley Jedlicka, Nebraska Wesleyan (Setter)
Nebraska Wesleyan setter Ashley Jedlicka is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Jedlicka, a sophomore from Schuyler, Nebraska, averaged 10.25 assists per game as the Prairie Wolves went 2-1. She recorded double-doubles in all three matches on the week as she also averaged 2.67 digs per set. For the week she also posted four ace serves. Nebraska Wesleyan is now 16-6 on the season.
Libero- Amanda Nelson, Morningside (Libero)
Morningside libero Amanda Nelson is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Libero-of-the-Week. Nelson, a senior from Wakefield, Nebraska, averaged 5.67 digs per set as the Mustangs went 2-0 on the week. She was perfect on the week in serve reception attempts and serve attempts. In a road win at Briar Cliff she totaled 25 digs which was the second highest team total on the year in a three-set match. Morningside is now 26-2. This Week in GPAC Volleyball Wednesday, October 14
