The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 28 - October 6, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women - Alyssa McBride, Nebraska Wesleyan
  Nebraska Wesleyan's Alyssa McBride is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. McBride, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, shot a two-day total of 165 in winning the Doane Invite last week. Over two days she shot an 85-80 at Wilderness Ridge in Lincoln.

 

  Dakota Wesleyan's Nick Gates is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Gates, a senior from Mitchell, South Dakota, placed second last week at the Dakota Wesleyan Invite with a two-day total of 146. He shot a 74-72 over two days in Mitchell, South Dakota.
