Men's Soccer Honors
Men's Soccer - Tue, Oct 6, 2009
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's soccer players-of-the-week for September 28 -October 4, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 


Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Men's Offense - John Podraza, Dana - Forward
   Dana forward John Podraza is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Podraza, a junior from Elkhorn, Nebraska, scored two goals and had an assist for the Vikings last week. For the week he scored the game winner against Doane and set up the game winner in overtime against Dordt. Dana is 7-2-2 on the season and tied for the GPAC lead with Hastings (13 points a piece).

Men's Defense- Greg Beall, Doane- Keeper
  Doane keeper Greg Beall is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Beall, a freshman from Amarillo, Texas, picked up the win in net as Doane defeated Morningside 1-0. The Mustangs were receiving votes in last week's NAIA poll. Doane is now 5-6.
