Women's Soccer Honors
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's soccer players-of-the-week for September 28 -October 4, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 


Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women's Offense- Clare Koeppe, Doane - Forward/Midfielder
  Doane forward/midfielder Clare Koeppe is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Koeppe, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, scored three goals on the week as the Tigers went 2-0. In Doane's first win against Dana since 2006 (first in Blair since 2005) she netted two goals and also added another goal in a win over Morningside. The Doane women are now 5-5 on the season.

Women's Defense- Jordan Ludwig, Doane - Keeper
  Doane keeper Jordan Ludwig is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Ludwig, a freshman from Waverly, Nebraska, posted two shutouts in goal as the Tigers went 2-0. Since she moved into a starting spot at keeper Doane has gone 4-0 and she has gone 378 minutes without allowing a goal this season. Doane is now 5-5 and tied for second in the league with 12 points.
