![]() GPAC Week #4 Golf Honors The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 21 - September 27, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women -Dani Bellet, Dakota Wesleyan Dakota Wesleyan's Dani Bellet is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Bellet, a sophomore from Lead, South Dakota, carded two first place finishes last week for the Tigers. She medaled at the Nebraska Wesleyan Fall Invite with a two-day total of 152 (77-75) and then she claimed honors again at the Dakota Wesleyan Fall Invite with a 36 hole total of 153 (74-79). Both of her rounds were below the existing DWU 36 hole school record. Bellet, last year's GPAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Year, has placed in the top-five in every meet so far this season. Briar Cliff's Bill Keane is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Keane, a junior from Sioux City, Iowa, was the medalist at the Briar Cliff Invite with a two under score of 70 at the Green Valley Golf Course last week. He helped lead Briar Cliff to a tie for first with Northwestern with identical team scores of 302.
