Men's Golf - Wed, Sep 23, 2009
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 14 - September 20, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women - Michaela Carew, Briar Cliff
 
Briar Cliff's Michaela Carew is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Carew, a senior from Fargo, North Dakota, was the medalist in GPAC Women's Golf Qualifier #1 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Tuesday, September 15. She shot a round of 74 (36-38) at the Elmwood Golf Course. Dakota Wesleyan is the team leader in the conference with a 320 after the first round.
 
Men - Kyle Jaacks, Nebraska Wesleyan
 
Nebraska Wesleyan's Kyle Jaacks is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Jaacks, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, was the medalist in the GPAC Men's Golf Qualifier #1 at Orange City, Iowa, on Thursday, September 17. He shot a round of 68 (32-36) at the Landsmeer Golf and Country Club. Nebraska Wesleyan and Morningside are tied for the team lead at 293 after the first round.

at Pioneers (Nebraska Wesleyan is Host)

GPAC Men's Golf Qualifier #2 is on Monday, October 6, in Lincoln, Nebraska
