GPAC Week #3 Golf Honors The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 14 - September 20, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women - Michaela Carew, Briar Cliff Briar Cliff's Michaela Carew is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Carew, a senior from Fargo, North Dakota, was the medalist in GPAC Women's Golf Qualifier #1 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Tuesday, September 15. She shot a round of 74 (36-38) at the Elmwood Golf Course. Dakota Wesleyan is the team leader in the conference with a 320 after the first round. Men - Kyle Jaacks, Nebraska Wesleyan
Nebraska Wesleyan's Kyle Jaacks is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Jaacks, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, was the medalist in the GPAC Men's Golf Qualifier #1 at Orange City, Iowa, on Thursday, September 17. He shot a round of 68 (32-36) at the Landsmeer Golf and Country Club. Nebraska Wesleyan and Morningside are tied for the team lead at 293 after the first round.
