The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's soccer players-of-the-week for September 14 -September 20, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women's Offense- Kasha Roberts, Dakota Wesleyan - Midfielder
Dakota Wesleyan midfielder Kasha Roberts is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Roberts, a sophomore from Rapid City, South Dakota, netted three goals on the week as the Tigers went 2-0. Dakota Wesleyan posted big wins over Dordt (2-1) and Midland Lutheran (1-0) who were both receiving votes in the NAIA in last week's poll. The Tigers are now 6-0-2 on the season.

Women's Defense- Danielle Richardson, Dakota Wesleyan - Keeper
Dakota Wesleyan keeper Danielle Richardson is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Richardson, a junior from Wichita, Kansas, one again had a big week in net as the Tigers posted wins over Dordt and Midland Lutheran. For the week she faced 17 shots and allowed one goal. Dakota Wesleyan is now 6-0-2 and 2-0 in the league play.
