Women's Soccer Honors
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's soccer players-of-the-week for September 7 -September 13, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2009-2010 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women's Offense- Kate DuMez, Dordt - Midfielder
  Dordt midfielder Kate DuMez is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. DuMez, a senior from Brookfield, Wisconsin, netted four goals and one assist as the Lady Defenders went 2-0 on the week. In a 4-2 win over College of Saint Mary she scored a hat trick. In a win over Morningside she scored another goal and added an assist. DuMez was the 2008 GPAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Year. Dordt is now 5-0 on the season.

Women's Defense- Danielle Richardson, Dakota Wesleyan - Keeper
   Dakota Wesleyan keeper Danielle Richardson is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Richardson, a junior from Wichita, Kansas, did not allow a goal as the Tigers went 2-0-1 including a win over Bellevue who was receiving votes in the last NAIA poll. For the week she faced 17 shots and totaled 17 saves. The DWU women are now 4-0-2 on the season.
