![]() The Sunbirds Come Out Of Losers Bracket to Advance to Lewiston, Idaho Fresno Pacific had to win five games in a row to advance out of Sioux City, Iowa, and the Opening Round of the NAIA Baseball National Championship. After a 12-11 loss on Tuesday to Madonna in the opening round the Sunbirds did just that by winning game nine today in impressive fassion 10-1 over top seed Bellevue. Second seeded FPU won two games on Wednesday and two more on Thursday in the process. Today's game was finished right before a heavy rain storm hit Lewis and Clark Park. Despite being getting wet during the postgame celebration, the Sunbirds will load their first plane at 6:10PM tonight and head back to the West Coast and prepare for the AVISTA NAIA World Series next week in Lewiston, Idaho.
