The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's and women's tennis player-of-the- for April 20 - April 29, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis - Michel-Olivier Marcoax, Sioux Falls
  Sioux Falls' Michel-Olivier Marcoax is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Marcoax, a sophomore from Quebec, Canada, posted a 3-0 number one singles and 3-0 number one doubles record on the week. In singles play he defeated Matt Ford from Morningside (6-3, 6-4), Ethan Stout from Midland Lutheran (6-1, 6-1), and helped USF secure a tie of the GPAC Regular Season Tennis Championship with a win over Jamie Holmes from Nebraska Wesleyan (6-2, 6-2). His doubles partner is Borjan Jaksie. Sioux Falls and Nebraska Wesleyan shared the men's regular season title with 6-1 records.

Women's Tennis - Laura Osterloo, Sioux Falls
  Sioux Falls' Laura Osterloo is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Osterloo, a sophomore from Mitchell, South Dakota, posted a 3-0 number two singles and 4-0 number two doubles record on the week. Osterloo helped lead the Cougars to a 9-0 league record and the women's regular season tennis championship.
