Carly Stokebrand, Concordia University
Concordia's Carly Stokebrand is the track athlete-of-the-week. Stokebrand, a senior from Exeter, Nebraska, won the hammer throw and placed second in the discus at the Hastings/GPAC Last Chance Meet with a mark of 161 feet 8 inches. Her throw in the hammer is a GPAC season leading throw and ranks in the top ten in the NAIA.
Track Events
Bethany Sutton, Concordia University
Concordia's Bethany Sutton is the track athlete-of-the-week. Sutton, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, anchored both the Concordia 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 meter relays to third place finishes in the college division at the Drake Relays. The 4 x 400 meter relay time of 3:51.51 is a GPAC leading mark by over five seconds and the fifth fastest in the NAIA this season. It also breaks a Concordia school. The 4 x 800 meter relay time of 9:15.81 is a GPAC leading mark by over ten seconds and is also the fifth fastest in the NAIA this season. Beth's splits were 57.4 and 2:16.4.

Roger Goff, Dana College
Dana's Roger Goff is the field athlete-of-the-week. Goff, a senior from Missouri Valley, Iowa, won the javelin at the Kip Janvrin Invite with a distance of 191 feet. His toss set a new Dana College school record and leads the GPAC. Goffs' distance currently ranks him atop the GPAC and 13th nationally.

Michael Saalfeld, Concordia University
Concordia's Michael Saalfeld is the track athlete-of-the-week. Saalfeld, a senior from David City, Nebraska, placed fourth in the 800 meter race at the Drake Relays with a time of 1:51.61. He also has a time of 1:51.17 on the season which is the fastest in the GPAC and seventh in the NAIA. That time was run at the Kansas Relays.
