The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for April 19 -April 28, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women - Dani Bellet, Dakota Wesleyan University
 
Dakota Wesleyan's Dani Bellet is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Golf Player-of-the-Week. Bellet, a freshman from Lead, South Dakota, claimed medalist honors at the GPAC Women's Qualifier #4 in Orange City, Iowa, at the Landsmeer Golf Club. Bellet was named as the GPAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Year. Dakota Wesleyan's women shot a final round total of 341 and claimed the 2008-2009 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Golf Championship. The Tigers, with the win, earned the league's first automatic berth to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship next month in Rapid City, South Dakota, at the Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Men - Jared Rempel, Dordt College and Justin Zebolsky, Midland Lutheran
  Dordt's Jared Rempel is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Golf Player-of-the-Week. Rempel, a senior from Chilliwack, British Columbia, shot a round of 67 at the Northwestern Spring Invite to earn medalist honors. He also helped the Defenders lay claim to the team title.
  Midland Lutheran's Justin Zebolsky is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Golf Player-of-the-Week and GPAC Player-of-the-Year. Zebolksy, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, shot a final round of 73 at the GPAC Men's Golf Qualifier #4. Zebolsky totaled a 296 over 72 holes to qualify individually for the NAIA National Men's Golf Championship. The NAIA Men's Golf Championship is May 19-22 in Silvis, Illinois, at the TPC Deere Run. Zebolsky was the lone GPAC Men's Golfer to break 300 at the GPAC Qualifiers.
