The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following baseball player and pitcher-of-the-week for April 19 -April 28, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.


Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Pitcher - Wade Morrison, Morningside College
 
Morningside pitcher Wade Morrison is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Morrison, a junior from Arroyo Grande, California, went 1-0 this week. Morrison threw a complete game, two hit shut-out over Mount Marty. He struck out seven batters, while only allowing three walks. Morningside was 31-23 starting play this week.

Player- Zach Lambrechts, Mount Marty
  Mount Mary right fielder Zach Lambrechts is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Player-of-the-Week. Lambrechts, a junior from Milbank, South Dakota, hit .455 on the week with a slugging average of .818. Over seven games, he had ten hits and scored five runs. He also drove in 13 runs and smashed two home runs. Mount Marty was 27-21 starting play this week.
