Northwestern Will Host Qualifier #4 at Landsmeer

The fourth and final Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Golf Qualifier will be played on Friday in Orange City, Iowa, at the Landsmeer Golf Club. The 18 hole event will be hosted by Northwestern College.

Dakota Wesleyan leads the field after three qualifiers by 55 strokes after shooting a team leading score of 350 in GPAC Qualifier #3 in Fremont two weeks ago. The Tigers three round total now stands at 1018. The University of Sioux Falls is in second after three meets with a round three total of 375. The Cougars score after 54 holes is 1073. Northwestern is third with a 1096.

The top two teams, after the fourth and final qualifier, will advance to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships in May. The NAIA Women's Nationals will be played in Rapid City, South Dakota, at the Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Individually Dakota Wesleyan's Danielle Bellet medalist lead is at four strokes (243) after shooting an 86 (45, 41) in qualifier #3. Kelli Baseley from Dakota Wesleyan is second in the individual competition with a 54 hole total of 247.
