The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's and women's tennis player-of-the- for April 13 - April 19, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis - Tyler Benson, Hastings College
 
Hastings' Tyler Benson is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Benson, a sophomore from Kearney, Nebraska, posted a combined 6-0 record at the number two singles and number one doubles spot for the Broncos. Benson helped Hastings go 3-0 on the week and improve to 7-9 overall.

Women's Tennis - Meghan Klein, University of Sioux Falls
 
Sioux Falls' Meghan Klein is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Klein, a sophomore from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, posted a 5-0 singles record at the number five singles spot for the Cougars. She also combined with Amanda Forest at the number two doubles spot for a 5-1 record.
