The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for April 13 - April 19, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week
Women - Dani Bellet, Dakota Wesleyan University
  Dakota Wesleyan's Dani Bellet is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Golf Player-of-the-Week. Bellet, a freshman from Lead, South Dakota, claimed medalist honors at the Dana College Spring Open at River Wilds Golf Club. At River Wilds, Bellet shot a round of 73 and helped the Tigers earn the team title. The next day Bellet placed second at the Concordia Invite with a round of 77 and another team title.

Men - Mark Steskal, Doane College
  Doane's Mark Steskal is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Golf Player-of-the-Week. Steskal, a senior from Ewing, Nebraska, shot a round of 75 at the Union College Invite to place second individually. He also helped the Tigers lay claim to the team title.
