GPAC Weekly Tennis Honors
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's and women's tennis player-of-the- for April 6 - April 12, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.


Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis - Matt Ford, Morningside
 
Morningside's Matt Ford is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Ford, a sophomore from Rice, Minnesota, posted a 3-0 record at the number one singles and was 2-1 at the number one doubles spot for the Mustangs. Ford helped Morningside go 1-2 on the week and improve to 4-8 overall.

Women's Tennis - Kassie Hein, Morningside
 
Morningside's Kassie Hein is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Hein, a freshman from Milford, Iowa, posted a 1-0 singles record at the number six singles spot for the Mustangs. She also combined with Shannon Schroeder at the number three doubles spot for a 1-0 record.
