![]() Morningside's Garth Hamilton The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's tennis player-of-the-week. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Player-of-the-Week
Men's Tennis - Garth Hamilton, Morningside Morningside's Garth Hamilton is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week. Hamilton, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, posted a combined 2-2 record at the number four singles and number one doubles spot for the Mustangs. Hamilton helped Morningside go 1-1 on the week and improve to 3-6 overall.
Women's Tennis - Jenny Lewellen, Sioux Falls
Sioux Falls' Jenny Lewellen is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis co-Player-of-the-Week. Lewellen, a junior from Seattle, Washington, posted a 5-1 singles record at the number one singles spot for the Cougars. She also posted a 5-1 record at the number one doubles spot.
Women's Tennis - Lexi Laursen, Midland Lutheran
Midland Lutheran's Lexi Laursen is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Tennis co-Player-of-the-Week. Laursen, a junior Longmont, Colorado, posted a 2-0 singles record at the number two singles spot for the Warriors. She also posted a 2-0 record at the number two doubles spot. |
