The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following baseball player and pitcher-of-the-week for March 23 -March 29, 2009. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Pitcher - Kasey Neumann, Briar Cliff
Briar Cliff pitcher Kasey Neumann is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Neumann, a sophomore from Sioux City, Iowa, posted a perfect 3-0 record with a save in four games this week. Neumann allowed three hits in relief and did not allow a run. The Chargers were 13-15 starting play this week.

Player- Cody Davis, Briar Cliff
Briar Cliff left fielder Cody Davis is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Player-of-the-Week. Davis, a senior from Moville, Iowa, hit .529 on the week with a slugging average of 1.000. Over five games he totaled 10 RBI's and had five extra base hits. The Chargers were 13-15 entering the week.
