Pool play completed at the 2008 NAIA Volleyball National Championship and 12 teams advanced to the single elimination championship bracket. Top four teams will receive a bye in the playoff round and will advance to the quarterfinals.

Host Morningside, despite not advancing out of pool play, pulled the tournament shocker and defeated number one ranked Fresno Pacific 3-2 in the final pool play match of the day.
