 The Trek to the Tyson Starts on Novemeber 22!
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the qualifiers and pairings for the 29th Annual NAIA Volleyball National Championship. The tournament will feature 36 teams with 12 opening round matches played at on-campus sites. The top 12 teams will received a bye in the opening round and will advance to the final site in Sioux City, Iowa. The tournament will be held at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena from Dec. 2-6, 2008 in Sioux City.
From the GPAC Northwestern and Morningside are in the Top-12 and will automatically advance to the final site in Sioux City, Iowa. On Saturday, November 22, Dordt (At-Large Selection) will host Indiana Wesleyan at 7:30 PM, while Doane (At-Large Selection) will host Bethel at a time TBD in Opening Round Matches.
