Final Week for GPAC Women's Soccer Honors
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's soccer players-of-the-week for November 3 -November 9, 2008. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008-2009 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
 
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women's Offense -Hannah Wray, Hastings - Forward
  Hastings' forward Hannah Wray is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Wray, a freshman from Hastings, Nebraska, netted a pair of goals on the week as the Broncos went 2-0. She scored a goal in each of Hastings' playoff games, one against Dakota Wesleyan in the quarterfinals and one against Dana in the semifinals. Hastings is now 14-4-1 and will play at Dordt for the GPAC Women's Soccer Tournament Championship on Thursday, November 13, at 2 PM. Both teams have secured berths in the NAIA National Soccer Tournament.

Women's Defense - Megan Kreifels, Hastings - Keeper
  Hastings' keeper Megan Kreifels is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Kreifels, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, totaled two shut outs in goal as Hastings went 2-0 on the week. For the week she stopped four shots and posted her 10th and 11th shutouts of the season. The first team GPAC Keeper has now gone 450 straight minutes without allowing a goal.
