![]() GPAC Men's Soccer Tourney The quarterfinal round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Soccer Tournament opened today with four games played across the league. Top seed Hastings defeated eight seed Dordt 6-0, while on the other side of that bracket fifth seed Northwestern upset fourth seed Doane 1-0 in double overtime on a penalty kick. In the bottom bracket second seed Sioux Falls came from two goals down to defeat number seven Concordia 3-2 and three seed Dana defeated sixth seed Morningside 2-0.
The GPAC Men's Soccer Tournament is a single elimination tournament with the winner advancing, as the league's second representative, to the NAIA National Soccer Tournament Opening Round on Saturday, November 22. Hastings College has secured the first bid for the GPAC as the regular season champion. The GPAC is allotted two automatic berths because we have 12 NAIA teams in the conference.
