Olympic Update from London (from Doane Sports Information):

BJ Lawrence, a junior this past year at Doane, was scheduled to run in the 100m dash this morning for St. Kitts and Nevis.  However, this morning following the prelims he was not listed in the start list for the First Round and we have not heard as to why he did not run... previously he had been battling a leg injury that could hold him out but as of yesterday he had been planning on running today (this confirmed through conversations with him as well as social media posts).

He was not the only St. Kitts runner that did not race today as their top sprinter, Kim Collins, was a scratch as well in the event.  As far as we know, he is still scheduled to run on the 4x100 relay on Aug 10 or 11 in London.
