Baseball - Player of the Week
Dylan Steyer
Midland University
Midland right fielder Dylan Steyer is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Player-of-the-Week. The 6-4 junior from Omaha, Nebraska, was the catalyst for the Warriors who rattled off four straight wins, including winning three games on Saturday to claim the Briar Cliff Bracket title. Steyer hit safely in every game, and unloaded for a combined three homers and 10 RBI in Saturday's three-game sweep. His 59 RBI this season now lead the GPAC. He also recorded his 52nd career double to set a new Midland all-time record. Steyer scored seven runs on the week and went 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.

Softball - Pitcher of the Week
Michaela Woodward
Concordia University
Concordia pitcher Michaela Woodward is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Woodward, a freshman hailing from Cortland, Nebraska, went 5-1 and covered all 39.2 GPAC tournament innings in leading seventh-seeded Concordia to its first GPAC tournament title since 2007. In the tournament win over Nebraska Wesleyan, Woodward limited the Prairie Wolves to just a single run on two hits. She also fired a five-inning, five-hit shutout in an elimination game with Midland to advance the Bulldogs to the GPAC championship series. At 19-11 overall, Woodward ranks in a tie for fourth on the program's single-season wins list.

Softball - Player of the Week
Michaela Woodward
Concordia University
Concordia pitcher Michaela Woodward is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Softball Player-of-the-Week. A freshman from Cortland, Nebraska, Woodward helped out her own cause at the GPAC tournament with a .450 batting average (9-for-20) and drove in eight runs as the Bulldogs won their first conference tournament title since 2007. In the title-clinching win over Morningside, Woodward drilled a three-run homer in the fourth inning to give Concordia a 4-3 lead. She is hitting .386 with three home runs and 38 RBIs (tied for the team lead) on the season.

Baseball - Pitcher of the Week
Cody Pollack
Midland University
Midland pitcher Cody Pollack is the GPAC/Hauff-Mid America Sports Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Pollack, a 6-1 senior from Troutdale, Oregon, picked up wins in back-to-back games on Saturday as the Warriors won four straight games, including three on Saturday to win the Briar Cliff Bracket of the GPAC Tournament. He held Northwestern scoreless over the last four innings in Saturday's finale, allowing Midland to rally from a 7-0 deficit for the win.

(Sioux City, Iowa) – Dakota Wesleyan and Midland won their respective brackets and will play in the championship game of 2015 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Baseball Tournament on Tuesday May 5. The game will be held in Mitchell, South Dakota, with first pitch slated for 6 PM at Cadwell Park.

(Sioux Center, Iowa) – The Doane College women and Concordia University men claimed team titles on Saturday at the 2015 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Tiger women scored 225 points, while the Bulldog men scored 184.5 points.  The 2015 GPAC Championships were held at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, at Open Space Park.
